Tyler Jump

Tyler Jump was named the Head Girls Weightlifting Coach at Bolles in 2023. Jump brought six years of coaching experience at the middle and high school levels in football, baseball, cheerleading, and weightlifting to Bolles. He is also a 10th grade advisor, upper school social studies teacher, and an assistant coach for the boys weightlifting team.
Jump became the first Head Coach for Girls Weightlifting in Bolles history when he helped create the program for the 2023 season. In his first season Jump led BGW to a District Runner-Up Title and took three athletes, Ashley Prokop, Camilla Clarke, and Alexyia Downer, to the State Championships in Lakeland, FL.
Prior to Bolles Jump served as the Head Coach of Nease High School’s Girls Weightlifting program in 2022 and as the Head Coach of the Boys Weightlifting Program in 2021 and 2022. At Nease Jump both programs to District Championships in Olympic in 2022. The Boys District Championship was the first for the program since 2005. Prior to Nease Jump Coached football and baseball at WA Higgins Middle School in Clarksdale, Mississippi from 2018 to 2020, Prior to his time in Mississippi Jump was an after-school Soccer coach at Clay Hill Elementary School In 2018. Before beginning his career in education Jump was a four-year letter winner in cheerleading for the Florida Gators. In his workout plans Jump relies on the strength training form and practices that were taught to him as an athlete at the University of Florida.
