Varsity
Head Coach Kelly Stevenson joined the Bolles faculty as a Lower School Whitehurst Campus physical education instructor as well as the upper school girls' varsity basketball head coach in 2006. She became an Assistant Athletic Director in 2015. Stevenson brings a wealth of experience to the School as a successful college coach and player, as well as one of the most heralded high school athletes from the First Coast in recent years. Stevenson led the 2015-16 team to the program's first-ever region final and the 2013-14 squad to the program's first district title since 1997. She led the 2016-17 team to another district title. In her tenure, the Bulldogs have made the playoffs in eight seasons. Stevenson came to Bolles after a one year stint as the director of women's basketball operations at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, helping the 49ers win the Atlantic 10 Conference title in the 2005-06 season. Prior to UNC Charlotte, Stevenson served as an assistant coach at Furman University for the 2004-05 season, helping that program to 18 wins. Stevenson is a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports sciences. As a member of the Gators women's basketball team, she was a three-time Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll selection and was named to the SEC Good Works team for her community service. As a junior, she was named team tri-captain. Unfortunately, due to two knee injuries, Stevenson was limited to just two seasons of action on the court for the Gators after transferring from Jacksonville University in 2000. Stevenson was the first-ever player to sign with the JU women's basketball team as the program began its inaugural season in 1999. Stevenson graduated from Nease High School in 1999, where she guided the Panthers to the Class 5A state title as a senior. She was named Most Valuable Player of the state tournament and to the 5A All-State team that season as well. Stevenson also earned USA Today All-USA Honorable Mention, was named the 1999 Florida Times-Union Player-of-the-Year, and won the "Jasper" award for Amateur Women's Basketball Player of the Year at the Florida Sports Awards, joining her Nease teammates as a member of the top Amateur Women's Team. |

Pierce was named to the All-SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2004 and 2005. As a junior, she was UGA’s Female Athlete representative at the NCAA Leadership Conference. Pierce graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Pensacola, where she won the 2000 4A State Championship with a 31-0 record. She was also the 2000 state tournament Most Valuable Player and Class 4-A player of the year. Pierce was on the 5A All- State Team in 1999, a season in which her squad fell to Kelly Stevenson's Nease team in the state championship game. She was also named to the 4A All-State team in 2000 and 5A All-State Team in 2001. Pierce is a three-time Pensacola News Journal Player of the Year |
Mia Stone Assistant Coach Mia Stone is a Jacksonville native, where she attended Mandarin High and the Potter’s House Christian Academy.
