Ghioto ’28 and Edwards ’28 Named to Preseason All-USA Team
Bolles football players Asher Ghioto ’28 and Xander Edwards ’28 have been named to the USA TODAY Sports Southeast Region preseason ALL-USA high school football team. The list highlights the top 33 players from throughout Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Ghioto, a defensive lineman, was named to the first-team defense. He totaled 84 tackles, 35 for a loss, and 23 sacks last season. Edwards, a running back, was named to the second team offense. He rushed for 2,629 and scored 44 touchdowns, along with 211 yards receiving last season.
