Middle School Blue Team
Sean Mullings Head Coach Sean Mullings joined Bolles during the 2006-07 academic year. Since then, he has served the Bolles community in various capacities including: In-house Substitute Teacher; Math Teacher; Assistant Coach; Head Coach, WEB Coordinator; and Middle School Assistant Dean of Students. Currently, Sean serves as the Assistant Dean of Students, Grade 7 Volleyball Head Coach, Grade 8 Boys Basketball Head Coach, Middle School Track & Field Head Coach, and WEB Coordinator. Prior to coming to Bolles, Mullings spent six years as a math teacher in South Florida where he coached middle school, JV, and varsity basketball. He spent the 2005-06 season as Head Coach for the Grandview Prep Lady Pride, leading the team to its first FHSAA District Championship. Mulling’s history in sports is long and varied. His first exposure to basketball was as a freshman at Xaverian High School, a perennial basketball powerhouse, in the Brooklyn-Queens Division of the Catholic High School Athletic Association. The CHSAA featured some of the best high school players in the city at that time. Some of the marquee players were: Kenny Anderson, Jamal Mashburn, Malik Sealy, Adrian Autry, Brian Reese, Jamal Faulkner, Derek Phelps, and Khalid Reeves, to name a few. As a senior, Mullings was ranked 75th, by Hoop Scoop, out of all seniors in New York City. During his high school athletic career, he also earned varsity letters in two other sports. He was a stand-out Middle Blocker for the Varsity Volleyball Team. He competed and won a Bronze Medal, as a member of the 1987 New York City Scholastic Volleyball Team, at the Empire State Games. Sean was also a member of the 1987 and 1988 New York City Junior Olympic Volleyball Team. Mullings was a three-year letterman in Track & Field; specializing in high jump, long jump, triple jump, and hurdles. Mullings went on to play collegiate basketball for the NCAA Division I at Long Island University. He played for the Blackbirds for two seasons before transferring to LIU - C.W. Post (NCAA Division II) for his junior and senior campaign, as a Pioneer. While at C.W. Post, he played for New York State Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Tom Galeazzi. Mulling's junior year, C.W. Post achieved a record of 26-5 while advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division II National Tournament. In 2000, he earned a B.S. in Public Accountancy from LIU-C.W. Post. In 2005, he completed his MBA (Global Management) from the University of Phoenix.Mullings lives in Nocatee with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons Tristan and Kaden. Sean also has two older sons, Sean Jr. and Shane. |

Kelly Stevenson Head Coach Kelly Stevenson joined the Bolles faculty as a Lower School Whitehurst Campus physical education instructor as well as the upper school girls' varsity basketball head coach in 2006. She became an Assistant Athletic Director in 2015. Stevenson brings a wealth of experience to the School as a successful college coach and player, as well as one of the most heralded high school athletes from the First Coast in recent years. Stevenson led the 2015-16 team to the program's first-ever region final and the 2013-14 squad to the program's first district title since 1997. She led the 2016-17 team to another district title. In her tenure, the Bulldogs have made the playoffs in eight seasons. Stevenson came to Bolles after a one year stint as the director of women's basketball operations at the University of North Carolina Charlotte, helping the 49ers win the Atlantic 10 Conference title in the 2005-06 season.
