The Florida Bar Criminal Section announced the election of Fourth Circuit Judge Tatiana R. Salvador ’86 as its chair for the 2025-26 Bar year. Salvador also serves as the chair of the Bolles Board of Trustees.

According to an article from The Florida Bar, Salvador plans to continue expanding opportunities for section members to learn, connect and lead.

“I am deeply honored to serve as chair of the Criminal Law Section for the upcoming Bar year,” Salvador said. “Our section’s more than 2,300 members — judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law professors, students and other criminal law professionals — are united by a commitment to a fair, just and efficient criminal justice system for everyone.”

Salvador was appointed to the bench in 2012 and has served in the Fourth Circuit’s Felony and Civil divisions. She was the sole judge presiding over all postconviction cases in 2018 and was the administrative judge for the Felony Division in 2023. During her tenure, she has overseen more than 100 jury trials. #BulldogProud
