Patterson ’20 Starts in Pro Soccer Debut
Bolles alumna Avery Patterson ’20 started in her professional debut for the Houston Dash of the National Women’s Soccer League on March 16. The former UNC star returned to North Carolina to face the Carolina Courage in Cary. Patterson played the entire match.
Patterson was selected 19th overall by Houston in the 2024 NWSL draft. She is the first-ever Bolles alumna to be drafted into the league.
