When Bolles students connect with alumni—over muffins, in classrooms or in one-on-one conversations—they are not just exploring careers. They are gaining the perspective and confidence to thoughtfully navigate their own path.

The J. Malcolm Jones Jr. Mentorship Program seeks to equip Bolles students to unlock their full potential by connecting them with individuals who will inspire growth, share real-world experience and guide them as they navigate their journey through Bolles and beyond.

Named for former Bolles Trustee and past parent J. Malcolm Jones Jr. ’71, the initiative fosters meaningful relationships between students and alumni through:

  • Informational Interviews
  • Classroom Speaker Series
  • The Jones Fellow Program
  • Experiential Learning Opportunities
  • Lunch and Learns
  • Grade-Level Career Exploration

Program Spotlight: The Jones Fellows Program

In the foreground, a man guides two students in examining a knee joint model, while in the background, other students work at desks in a brightly lit classroom.

The Jones Fellows Program, a flagship initiative of The J. Malcolm Jones Jr. Mentorship Program, is a cohort-based experience that helps students explore their interests, develop professional skills, and gain exposure to meaningful pathways beyond the classroom through one-on-one mentorship and real-world engagement.

At the heart of the program is the belief that meaningful relationships can profoundly shape a student’s direction and sense of possibility.
