A significant number of Bolles boarding students hail from the United States including cities in Alaska, California, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Girls in the Bolles Residential Life program live in dorms on the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus. Boys live in Bolles Hall on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus. Students enjoy an enriching educational and life experience in a safe and nurturing environment, attending classes and participating in Bolles athletic and fine arts events. Prior to the first day of school, boarding students enjoy fun and fellowship at various events and many attend a Summer ESL Program. The weekend before school started, students enjoyed a pool party and other gatherings.
