Bolles Tennis and Junior Tennis Champions Center
The Bolles School is proud to have a partnership with Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC), under the leadership of Director of Tennis Claudio Pistolesi and the expertise of Brian Gottfried.
Bolles partnered with JTCC in 2014 to provide world-class tennis programming alongside quality education and character development. Under the leadership of former world-ranked professional player Brian Gottfried, Bolles Tennis has grown into a comprehensive training program. Gottfried relocated to Sarasota, Florida, but continues to be involved on a part-time basis, supporting players on-site at Bolles, at JTCC in College Park, Maryland, and during tournaments.
Pistolesi was named Director of Tennis in July 2018. He joined the Bolles Tennis program with a distinguished tennis career as both a player and coach. He reached 71st in the ATP World Rankings and represented Italy in the Davis Cup. His achievements as a coach include successful relationships with former professional players Robin Soderling and Daniela Hantuchova and as the Coaches Representative to the ATP Players Council. Pistolesi currently runs Claudio Pistolesi Enterprise, based in Jacksonville, that focuses on both developing juniors striving to compete collegiately in the United States and working with professional players.
Gottfired continues to follow his passion through his involvement with Bolles Tennis, sharing his love of tennis and his experience as a successful professional player. He won 25 singles and 54 doubles titles, including doubles championships at Wimbledon in 1976, the French Open in 1975 and 1977, and as a member of the U.S. Davis Cup team from 1976-78, 1980 and 1982.
Founded in College Park, Maryland in 1999, JTCC is committed to providing world-class tennis programming alongside quality education and character development.
