Rajan Khanna ’17, who established his passions for engineering and robotics at The Bolles School, was back on campus August 13 as a guest lecturer in Gloria Wood’s Video Production Class on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus.
Khanna is a junior aerospace and occupational safety student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he also is the Editor-in-Chief of The Avion Newspaper. During his time at Bolles, Khanna was very active in the School’s robotics program and camps and counseled other students in their learning, Wood said.
“Rajan took all the technology classes his schedule would allow in middle and upper school and as always very passionate about video editing and robotics – he has so much to offer to our young videographers!” Wood said.
Khanna began his presentation with a classroom demonstration of good camera techniques, interesting video shots and drone footage. Later, he took the class outside to show students how to program a drone.
“The kids were interested and happy and Rajan left the school proud to be a Bolles alumni.”
