Bolles alumnus Charles Hicks ’19, a five-time All-America in track and cross country for Stanford, qualified for the NCAA Track and Field Championships in the 10,000-meter run for the second season in a row. Hicks placed seventh at the NCAA West Prelims at the University of Arkansas on May 25. The top 12 competitors in each event advanced to the national meet, to be held June 8-11 in Eugene, Oregon. Hicks is scheduled to race on Wednesday, June 8, at 10:08 p.m. ET.
Hicks was also one of four Cardinal track and field athletes to earn CoSIDA District 8 All-Academic honors. He is now eligible for Academic All-America honors.
