The Top Ten Ways to Get to Know Bolles—Virtually!

More than 9,000 alumni have called the Bolles community home since 1933.  Our graduates are a tightknit network of professionals working all over the globe. Today, our campuses are quiet but our tradition of learning excellence and our dedication to developing students of character continues to set new standards with time-honored intensity.

So how do you choose a school during these unprecedented times? Here are “the next best things to being here” ways to get to know us a little better:

1. Follow us on social media.

Facebook: @TheBollesSchool, Twitter: @TheBollesSchool, Instagram: @Bollesschool

Take time to scroll the feeds to see what #BollesLife is like when students are on campus.

2. Take a Virtual Tour.

See one of Jacksonville’s most historic places—our own Bolles Hall—a gathering spot for students in grades 9 through 12 on our Upper School San Jose Campus. If you are entering grades 6 through 8, visit our Lovett Fine and Performing Arts Center and more on our Middle School Bartram Campus. If you are interested in Pre-K through 5 you may take a leisurely stroll under the shady oaks to see our Lower School Whitehurst Campus or along the paths at the beach to see the Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus.

3. Explore the First Coast.

If you are interested in our boarding program, explore the many opportunities and beautiful beaches and places around Jacksonville! Florida doesn’t just have sun and palm trees—it offers so much more!

4. Review Our Academic Offerings.

Bolles has an All Things Possible mindset because of the breadth and depth of our curriculum and offerings. Review our curriculum guide for upper, middle or lower to view the possibilities. In addition, if you are looking for more in middle or upper school, learn about our partnership with the Global Online Academy. Bolles has something for everyone!

5. Learn More About Our Distance Learning.

While these are certainly different times, Bolles faculty have set the bar high and risen to the occasion—continuing their teaching remotely. Learn more about our distance learning for each campus.

6. Get Creative With Our Fine and Performing Arts.

Bolles offers a dynamic and comprehensive program within the Arts from our youngest in the lower school through a unique and separate middle school program to our upper school performances and shows. The arts are alive at Bolles!

7. Hone In On Our Athletic Success.

Bolles Athletics has a long history of success. Since our beginning, we have won national, state and district titles in 17 different sports. We have student-athletes who have participated, and medaled, in the Olympics and World Championships. Many Bulldogs continue their sports careers to play in college and even further—at the professional level of their game.

8. Check Out Our Community Involvement.

One of the core strengths of our community is its strong desire to make a difference by helping others and giving back. Student activities and clubs do this at each grade level in the lower, middle and upper school and it is a unique part of our character development program which enforces The Bolles WayPursuing excellence through courage, integrity, and compassion.
