Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus Instructional Technology Specialist Gloria Wood has been selected as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for the 2021-22 school year.
Microsoft selects educator experts to be part of the exclusive community of educator peers from all over the world who share ideas, try new approaches and learn from each other.
“At Microsoft, we believe that technology alone cannot build 21st century skills for students,” Wood’s acceptance letter read. “It is an accelerator, but the power of change lies within educators. That is why we bring changemakers, like yourself, together to recognize and grow your achievements.”
Wood has been instrumental in developing technology and robotics resources at Bolles, first on the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus and for the past several years on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus where she has helped establish coding, robotics and kinetic sculpture classes. Wood is consistently named an MIE through the selective annual process. Congratulations, Mrs. Wood! You have all the right codes for success.
