After weeks of friendly competition between advisory groups on the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus, a winner in the March Madness-inspired “Bolles Bonanza” contest has risen to the top.

The grand finale championship pitted Jackie Willingham’s advisory against Morgan Teichert’s group in a hard-fought tower-building contest in the dining hall. Using only marshmallows and toothpicks, students applied collaboration and engineering skills to build the tallest – and most stable – structure design. Though the two advisories’ towers were nearly identical in height, Willingham’s advisory won for its structural strength.

Faculty organizer Dan Tamblyn presented Willingham’s group with the championship trophy. Congratulations to all our middle school Bulldogs!
