Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus Student Council members supported local youth athletics through a campuswide sports equipment drive benefiting Walk Off Charities this spring.

Students collected new and gently used bats, gloves, helmets, baseballs, softballs and cleats from their peers, then visited the organization’s facility at Fort Family Recreation Center on May 14 to deliver the donations. During the field trip, members toured the site and learned how Walk Off Charities serves young baseball and softball players across Jacksonville.

The outreach effort provided students with a firsthand look at community need while reinforcing the importance of service and leadership.
