One of the big academic events for Bolles second graders is the annual Wax Museum project. Students on the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus exhibited their research in a George Hall stage performance before Spring Break. Second graders on the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus continue to work on their research and exhibit elements from their home-based classrooms. Whitehurst teachers have been helping students organize their facts and during library/maker time, Teacher Librarian Jennifer Moore has been showing them how to make ‘bottle people” who resemble the historic characters they are studying. The lesson culminates in recorded student presentations that include various elements, facts and research.
