With the high school football regular season completed, the Florida Times-Union is polling readers for the top offensive and defensive players from the local area in 2025. Xander Edwards ’28 is listed among the offensive players and Asher Ghioto ’28 is listed among the defensive players. Edwards rushed for 1,880 yards and 28 touchdowns in 10 regular season games. He also broke the the state single-game rushing touchdown record with eight in one game. Ghioto tallied 20 sacks, 28 tackles for loss and 64 total tackles and in 10 games.
