Upper School Students Recognized for Outstanding Fundraising Efforts
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s North Florida Region recognized Olivia Janse van Rensburg ’24, Claire Hastings ’25 and Olivia Vohs ’25 as the nonprofit’s Student Visionaries of the Year for their extraordinary fundraising efforts.
The upper school students formed the Duval Dream Team last year, raising more than $157,841 in seven weeks for the nonprofit, which aims to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. The Duval Dream Team ultimately collected a total of $234,768 for the organization.
