Upper School Spring Play Takes Stage March 24-26

It’s a mouthful of a title, but “Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School for Magic and Magic” promises to sing when it takes the McGehee Auditorium stage March 24-26.

This year’s spring play, by Matt Cox, is a fast-paced, laugh-out loud comedy about Wayne Hopkins, a regular boy who finds out he’s a wizard and goes to school in England where he makes friends and has adventures. At school, he is sorted as a Puff, and he and the other Puffs learn how to be wizards and avoid attacks by evil wizards. The following student actors perform many roles in the 90-minute play:

Kyla Bullock and Kate  Youell are stage managers and Ava Sickler is properties designer. Performances are free and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors for the 7 p.m. shows all three nights open at 6:45 p.m.
