Unbridled Success for Swani Sisters at Kentucky Show

Bolles national riding competitors Raina ’24 and Isha Swani ’21 competed at the National Horse Show in Lexington, Kentucky last weekend.

One of the most selective competitions of the year, the show is for the top 15 riders in the country in each category of competition. Riders like the Swanis compete all year to qualify, which is one of the most difficult feats of their season.

Raina qualified two horses in the 3’3” Junior Hunters 15 and under. She was champion on her horse, Knightly, in this category. Isha qualified one horse in the Large 3’6” Junior Hunters 16-17 and also qualified two horses in the Small 3’6” Junior Hunters 16-17 category. Isha took third place in the Large 3’6” Junior Hunters on her horse, Snippet, and placed fourth and fifth place in the Small 3’6” Junior Hunters on horses Bond and Aribo, respectively.

The girls will compete at the Wellington Horse Show upcoming in two weeks.
