University of Florida Professor of Dance Trent Williams will be on campus this weekend working with the Bolles Repertory Dance Theatre on a new piece students will perform during the Spring Dance Concert. Williams, who has performed extensively around the country and has danced alongside Destiny’s Child and Janelle Monae, among others, received his MFA in dance performance and choreographer from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Morehouse College. He is a founding member of Urban Souls Dance Company in Houston and has been a guest artist with the Tallahassee Ballet and with Edgeworks Dance Theatre in Washington D.C.

Williams will work with dancers during rehearsals December 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on December 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lynch Theatre on the Bolles Upper School Ssan Jose Campus.
