Congratulations to the two Bolles upper school FIRST Tech Challenge robotics teams that competed at the state championship in Winter Haven, Florida, on March 2!

Bolles Chief Technology Officer Paul Sollee ’88, who serves as the head coach for both teams, accompanied Mischievous Mechanics and Patent Pending to the tournament alongside Bolles upper school instructional technology specialist and robotics teacher Gloria Wood.

The Mischievous Mechanics team includes David Dong ’26, Bowen Body ’26, Jay Alanghat ’26 and Arnav Shah ’26.

The Patent Pending team includes Alyona Chugay ’24, Nishta Jijosh ’26, Liam Schilling ’24, Jake Kovacocy ’27 and Aryan Shah ’24.

Patent Pending and Mischievous Mechanics went 2-4 and 3-3, respectively, in their qualification matches. Bolles alum PK Kasavaraju ’22, a former member of Patent Pending, also attended the championship to cheer on both teams. #BollesInnovates
