Three Wrestlers Advance to State

All three Bulldogs competing at the Region 1-1A wrestling tournament in Panama City February 27-28 qualified for state with strong performances. Brett Bearden ’28 won the 215-pound class, Andrew Makeev ’29 placed third at 113 and Lucas Comora ’28 placed fourth at 175.

The State Championships will be held Thursday-Saturday, March 5-7, at Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee.  Tickets are $11 per session if purchased in advance via Ticketmaster, and $14 if purchased day of (plus fees). The tournament will also be streamed on the NFHS Network (fee required).
