The Bolles girls’ soccer team won its third straight state title in a row, a first in program history, defeating Miami Carrollton 3-2 in the Class 3A Final in Deland on February 26. The championship was the Bulldogs’ fifth in the last six years and ninth overall, and the sixth for Head Coach Matt Tracy.

Tied 2-2 at halftime with two goals by Avery Patterson ’20, including a penalty kick to open the scoring, Bolles went ahead with the game winning goal by Alexi Pitt ’22 in the 48^th minute. The Bulldogs dominated in shots and corner kicks but fought to hold off the Cyclones in the closing minutes to secure the win.

The state title is the third overall for Bolles this school year and the 141^st in the School’s history.
