Bolles Robotics Teams Win Bids to FLL State Tournament

Three out of seven Bolles Robotics teams that competed in the North Florida Regional FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Championship February 17 in Alachua, Florida, won bids to the state tournament.

The Magicianeers from the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus will join the Moof Monsters from the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus at the FLL State Championship March 9 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Bolles Robotics Operatives from the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus will serve as alternates for the competition.

Bolles middle school teacher and robotics coach Gabi Fudge said all the Bolles teams that competed – including Musical Mercuries, Magnum Opus, Future Bolles Innovators and Nuggies Are My Everything (N.A.M.E.) – gave inspiring performances filled with creativity, innovation and enthusiasm.

FLL organizers also recognized Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus teacher and robotics coach Beth Zerkowski with the Volunteer Hall of Fame award during regionals for her exceptional dedication to the league and its mission.

Congratulations, Bolles Robotics! #BollesInnovates
