This is India Week!
The Bolles India Club is sponsoring a weeklong slate of activities in celebration of India Week on the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus.
The celebration begins April 4 with Chak de! India during activities period. Students are organizing games of cricket and badminton on the lawn in front of Bolles Hall. The festivities swing into action on Tuesday with Nacho Nacho! in front of Bent Center during activities period when students learn a Bollywood TikTok trend from student dancers. Indian food will be served. On April 6, students will be engaged in Mandala chalk-drawing by the benches during Zero Hour, showcasing a beautiful cultural tradition via art. All are invited to enjoy Indian food on Thursday during the club’s activites period Chatpat Corner, where samosa and mango juice will be on sale. Samosas are $2.50 and mango juice boxes are $1, proceeds will benefit a charitable organization.
India Week culminates colorfully on Friday with a Holi celebration near the flag pole. Student organizers are planning music and “fun with colors.”
