The Aidyn Mae Hope Fund Club Featured in Uniquely You!

Bolles upper school students in The Aidyn Mae Hope Fund (AMHF) Club were featured in the August edition of Uniquely You! Northeast Florida for their inspiring efforts to raise funds and awareness of FOXG1 syndrome.

Co-founders Jack Jones ’26 and Hayden Jones ’28 launched the AMHF Club during the 2024-25 school year to honor Aidyn Mae, who was born with the rare and degenerative neurological disorder, and to support her brother Quincy ’36 – a student on the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus – and the entire Gottlieb family.

Now 70 members strong, the student-led organization partners with AMHF to provide volunteers for events, raise awareness about FOXG1 syndrome and advocate for families affected by ultra-rare diseases. With guidance from Bolles faculty sponsor Kip Collins ’05, the club hosted a lemonade stand and bake sale last fall, volunteered at the organization’s annual fundraiser and organized a Re-Feathered Book Sale in the spring – all benefiting FOXG1 research.

Read more about the AMHF Club’s impact, Aidyn Mae’s joyful spirit and the Gottlieb family’s fight to find a cure on pages 20-21 of Uniquely You! The AMHF will also host “A Rare Affair,” a fundraising event on November 13 at The Garden Club. Learn more about the event here. #BulldogsInspiringGoodness
