The Bolles boys’ and girls’ tennis teams both won team titles at the District 4-2A tournament, held April 15-16 on the Upper School San Jose Campus. The boys’ district title is the 44th in program history and the girls’ is the 45th.

Bracket winners in the girls’ singles tournament were Rafa Neel ’27 at #1, Ines Lahbabi ’29 at #3 and Violet Herbert ’25 at #4. In girls’ doubles, Neel and Grace Dunton ’25 won at #1 and Lahbabi and Juliana Graham ’31 won at #2. Singles winners for the boys were Michael Zhang ’26 at #1, Dhruv Pandya ’25 at #2, Juan Abenia Ruiz ’27 at #3, Luke Kunkle ’25 at #4 and John Baumann ’26 at #5. Zhang and Pandya won at #1 doubles and Kunkle and Baumann won at #2 doubles.

As winners at #1 singles and/or doubles, Neel, Dunton, Zhang and Pandya qualified individually for the state tournament. Both teams will host regional semifinal matches on Tuesday, April 22. The girls will play Fernandina Beach and the boys will play Stanton.
