The Bolles girls’ and boys’ tennis teams both placed fifth in the team standings at the Class 2A State Tournament, held in Orlando April 28-30. The girls’ lost a close match 4-3 to Gulliver Prep in the first round. Meagan Donovan ’21 won 6-1/6-0 at #1 singles in the match. Donovan and Abigail Radel ’22 won 6-2/6-4 at number 1 doubles and Minji Lee ’22 and Katrina Kirov ’24 won 6-3/6-4 at #2 doubles. The Bolles boys fell 5-2 to Gulliver Prep as well in the first round. Joe El Hajj ’22 won 6-4/6-3 at #1 singles in the match and Max Passali ’23 won 1-6/6-4/10-8 at #4 singles.
