Swani ’24 Wins Championships at the National Horse Show

Bolles senior Raina Swani ’24 excelled at the 140th National Horse Show, held October 25-November 5 in Lexington, Kentucky. Swani competed with the top 15 riders in the country in the 3’6” Large Older Junior Hunters.

Not only was she named Champion in the Large Older Junior Hunters, but she also became Large Junior Hunter Grand Champion as well as Overall Junior Hunter Grand Champion across all the four Junior Hunter divisions – rising to the top of 60 riders.

In an interview with equestrian magazine The Chronicle of the Horse, Swani said the National Horse Show has always held special meaning to her since the first time she competed at the show in 2020 in the 3’3” Junior Hunters and took home a championship.

“This was the first big final that I won in the 3’3″s, so to come back and close out my 3’6” career on this note is super special and super important for me,” she told the publication.
