Students Take a Bite Out of Shark Tracking in Science
kid on computer

Sixth grade students in Elizabeth Body and Laura Boswell’s science class have been studying shark movement this week in class. Using a real research site as data, students are creating their own shark tracking maps. The objective, Body said, is for students to use real life data to better determine how sharks are traveling. This gives them a better understanding of the organism and also how environmental changes might be affecting their behavior.
