Students Go on Creative Safari at Jacksonville Zoo

Bolles fine arts teachers Chris Hicks, Lily Kuonen and Billie Westerlind brought Advanced Photography 2, 3 and 4, Drawing and Painting Honors, and AP 2D Art students to the Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens on February 11.

The engaging field trip allowed photography students to document the animals, taking between 400 to 1,100 photos on average during the National Geographic-style experience. Drawing and painting students spent the day sketching animals and natural elements throughout the zoo, gaining firsthand inspiration from the environment. #BollesArts
