Bolles students Ananya Sridhar ’22 and Asha Gopal ’23 competed in the Miss Teen India Florida 2021-22 pageant contest, held earlier this year. On March 8, event organizers announced Sridhar was this year’s first runner up and Gopal won the title of Miss Teen India Florida 2021-22.

Both students will compete in the national pageant for Miss Teen India USA, which will be held in New Jersey this August.

Miss India, Florida Pageant is an annual pageant for Indian women and girls living in Florida and is organized by IFC, Friday Films & Silver Leaf Event Planner. The contestants of the pageant are girls of Indian origin living in the USA, from the ages of 13 and older for three different categories: Miss India USA Florida - From age 18 to 30; Miss Teen India USA Florida - From age 13 to 17; and Mrs. India USA Florida - From Age 18 and older and married. The pageant consists of four segments - Evening Gown, Indian Dress, Talent and Question/Answer.
