Bolles Spanish IV Honors students recently completed an imaginative project while studying Hispanic artists with upper school Spanish teacher Adriana Stam. Students researched a Hispanic artist of their choice, chose one of their pieces that inspired them and recreated the artwork while studying the proportions, lighting, colors, clothing and props and adding any additional stylistic effects.

Each student then presented their project in Spanish in front of their peers. The presentation included a brief biography of the artist, why the student chose the painting and what the process of recreating the image was like for them. The students also reflected on any challenges they faced while making their stunning creations.
