Seventh Graders Complete Shoebox Project for City Rescue Mission

Bolles seventh graders wrapped up a months-long community service project November 20, filling 145 shoeboxes with essential items for City Rescue Mission.

The effort, part of the local nonprofit’s annual “Shoeboxes of Love” drive, aimed to provide hygiene and comfort items to neighbors in need during the holiday season. Students began collecting supplies in September, with a goal of one box per seventh grader.

Six advisory groups met in the cafeteria during Advisory periods November 13 and November 20 to assemble the boxes. The space was organized into stations where students selected items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, socks and other necessities to complete their boxes.

All donations are scheduled for delivery to City Rescue Mission on December 8, supporting its initiative to spread hope and joy through its Christmas meal and outreach programs. #BulldogsInspiringGoodness
