Su Ertekin-Taner ’22 and Ava Sickler ’22, both staff leaders on The Bolles Bugle school newspaper, were named finalist in the 2022 Florida Student Journalist of the Year contest.

Sickler was one of three Designer of the Year finalists listed and Ertekin-Taner was one of three Writer of the Year finalists. Both staff members were the only students from Northeast Florida to make the prestigious winners’ circle in their category.

Winners will be recognized on Friday, April 22 at the FSPA Convention banquet. Congratulations, Bulldogs!
