Second-graders’ Studies of Africa Enriched by PVB Visit
Second graders from both the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst and Ponte Vedra Beach Campuses have been studying the continent of Africa this year as part of their global curriculum. Students from both campuses convened on the Ponte Vedra Beach Campus January 15 for a morning of hands-on learning, friendship and innovation. Students made galimotos, or toys, in the i-Lab, played African games in George Hall and enjoyed African snacks. All had a delightful time getting to know their counterpart classmates and learning a little more about the countries, cultures, cuisine and stories from the continent of Africa.
