UPDATED SCHOOL CLOSURE INFO
October 8, 2024
Due to the recent announcement of mandatory evacuations throughout St. Johns County, which includes our Ponte Vedra Beach Campus, and in light of the expected storm surge, we will be closing all campuses tomorrow and Thursday. The evacuations affect many families in our Bolles community across all four campuses, and safety remains our number one priority. We will be monitoring these evacuations closely.
Our team will assess each campus following the storm to ensure it is safe to return to school on Friday. We will communicate through our emergency broadcast system any updates and information on the reopening of school. These messages are sent using text, email and phone.
As stated in earlier message:
The Bolles Football game has been rescheduled to tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Jackson High School, and the Bishop Kenny Volleyball game will continue as scheduled this evening at Bolles. Rehearsals, extended day, practices, games, meetings and any other after school activities are canceled for Wednesday and Thursday.
All Resident Life students and dorm families will remain on campus. Administrators have a safety plan in place and Bolles Hall is equipped with a generator with the capacity to run the entire building, including air conditioning and the kitchen should we lose power. We want to assure their parents that these students will be well cared for.
