PVB Performers Deliver a Sweet “Willy Wonka Jr.”

Audiences stepped inside a world of pure imagination as the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus debuted its production of “Willy Wonka Jr.” on February 11 and 12 in George Hall. The two‑night performance filled the space with charm, color and just enough whimsy to make those in attendance feel as if they had found their own golden ticket.

Second graders opened the evening with a sweet introductory act that set the tone for the fun ahead. Gilchrist ’33 starred as Willy Wonka, with Amelia ’34 portraying Charlie and Charlie ’33 playing Grandpa Joe. Click here to learn more about the show and see a complete list of cast and crew.

The show was directed by Bolles drama and music teacher Stacey Posick, with support from assistant director and Grade 5 teacher Kaki Movsovitz. Dance teacher Hilly Amell choreographed the production, and faculty members Heather Hagy and Carolyn Houston teamed up with Movsovitz for the art, props, costumes and production support.

More photos from the performance are available in our online gallery. Bravo, Bulldogs! #BollesPVB
