Ponte Vedra Beach Campus Fights Food Insecurity
On April 20, the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus school community participated in a Bolles Cares event supporting Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL), the largest food bank serving the region.
Students and families learned about food insecurity and demonstrated The Bolles Way as they packed bags of potatoes and sorted bulk items. They also participated in an educational activity in which they were asked to shop for groceries in a mock store on a limited budget.
FNEFL’s President and CEO Susan King, Vice President of Philanthropy Molly Sweet, Director of Partnerships and Programs Mia Taylor as well as Nikki McCrimon graciously guided the group through this impactful event.
Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus Head Stacey Hendershot and Assistant Campus Head Anne Fallon played integral roles in arranging this opportunity for engagement and fellowship among the campus community alongside Bolles parents Marion Cangemi and Lauren Rueger.
Thank you to all the students, families, faculty and staff who participated! To view more pictures, visit our online photo gallery. #BulldogsInspiringGoodness
