Nationally acclaimed visual artist and HGTV designer Zeinab Ghais concluded her on-campus Peyton Endowed Visiting Guest Artist workshop with an exhibit and two receptions in Gooding Gallery.

A reception held the evening of February 10 was for patrons of Bolles arts while the February 11 reception was an opportunity for participating students and faculty to see their works on exhibit and share their experience with peers.

Ghais, a mixed-media painter who draws inspiration from her international roots to infuse color and texture into her works and lifestyle designs, has been featured on “Apartment Therapy,” “HGTV,” “SD Voyager” and “Shout Out LA.” She also teaches privately at various locations along the Texas coast and earned a BFA in furniture design and a minor in art history from Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia.

Close to 90 Bolles upper school art students worked with Ghais during her 10-day stay and their pieces are on exhibit in Gooding Gallery for the rest of the month.
