New Resident Life Students Settle into San Jose Campus

This week, Bolles welcomed a group of new international upper school students who are part of the Resident Life program. These students are currently participating in the English Language Learner Orientation (ELLO), an initiative designed to provide a fun and informative start to the student experience on the San Jose Campus.

Under the guidance of upper school teacher Danielle Jones, the students are engaging in activities that will help them prepare for success both inside and outside of the classroom. From English language classes covering grammar and U.S. History to class schedule scavenger hunts, the group is gaining valuable insight into how to get the most out of their time at Bolles.

This year’s Resident Life students are from all corners of the globe, including Austria, the Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, the Cayman Islands, China, Denmark, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mexico, Mongolia, Panama, Russia, Saint Lucia, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uruguay and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Special thanks to the dedicated Resident Life staff who worked through Tropical Storm Debby to ensure our new boarders received a warm welcome to Bolles! #BollesGlobal
