Nanny's Nation Raises Dough for ALS Foundation
The Bolles Nanny’s Nation Club raised nearly $3,500 to support the ALS Foundation by making and selling 100 pizzas on April 20 in partnership with Just Off The Beach Pizza.
Led by co-presidents Ava Allen ’24 and Jack Pearson ’26, the club members worked hard creating delicious pizzas and encouraging customers to join them in their mission to fund research to fight Lou Gehrig’s Disease and educate the general population about its devastating impacts.
Just Off The Beach Pizza is a unique organization that regularly identifies sponsors who donate all the ingredients for their pizza so that all proceeds from the sales can be 100 percent donated to charity. Allen and Pearson worked on establishing the fundraiser for Nanny’s Nation for weeks, asking the public to select the club as a charity partner with Just Off The Beach Pizza in a competitive Facebook contest.
The Bolles Nanny’s Nation Club is co-sponsored by Bolles upper school English teachers Beth Curran and Laura Pelletier. Well done, Bulldogs! #BulldogsInspiringGoodness
