Bolles alumnus Ryan Murphy ’13 is listed among MaxPreps’ “Top 100 High School Athletes of the 21^st Century (so far),” published July 9 on the MaxPreps website. Murphy ranks 76^th on the prestigious list, which is topped by four-time NBA Champion LeBron James at number one and followed by three-time Super Bowl Champion Patrick Mahomes at number two.

Murphy’s high school swimming career at Bolles includes six individual state titles and still-standing state records in the 100 back, 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay. He went on to win eight individual NCAA titles at the University of California, Berkeley and is a nine-time Olympic medalist.
