Mostovych Brothers Compete in Half Ironman Together

Bolles alumni and brothers Alexander Mostovych ’15 and Stefan Mostovych ’21 competed together in the Chattanooga Ironman 70.3 on May 18. An Ironman 70.3 event typically includes a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run. The swim portion was canceled for the 2025 competition in Chattanooga due to unsafe river conditions.

The Mostovych brothers conquered the challenging bike and run portions with dedication, endurance and determination to record personal best times. Alexander finished in 4:09:50 to place 29th in the male 25-29 age group and 287th overall. Stefan finished in 4:31:57 to place 36th in the male 18-24 age group and 614th overall. The event included nearly 3,000 competitors.
