Middle Schoolers Engage in Global Dialogue with Rwandan Peers

On December 4, Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus students had the opportunity to participate in a Global Dialogue hosted by middle school students at the Ntare Louisenlund School in Rwanda, in partnership with the Institute of Global Learning.

The Global Dialogue’s topic was Open-Mindedness and the Power of Listening. The goal of the dialogue was to bring students together to practice active listening and reflection – building skills that nurture international-mindedness and prepare them to be thoughtful, cooperative global citizens.

Student participants included: Yusuf ’32, Rohin ’31, Lauren ’30, Wisty ’30, Ameya ’30, Karissa ’30, Sofia ’30, Shree ’30 and Mona ’30. The opportunity was facilitated by Bolles Director of Global Learning and Engagement Allison Chandler and Bolles middle school teacher and coordinator of inclusion and belonging Michael Stephens. #BollesGlobal
