Middle School Writers Selected for Publishing
Fourteen students on the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus were selected to be published in two spooky Young Writers USA contests this winter.
The following eighth graders were published in the “Fear Factor” contest: Aarit Moolchandani ’29, Anya Shah ’29, Ellie Chambliss ’29, Ishaan Bansal ’29, Jake Cumber ’29, Krish Malik ’29, Lynn Ibrahim ’29, Mei Ning Chen ’29, Saanvi Kondu ’29 and Yaman Alnablsi ’29. The students were tasked with writing a story of no more than 100 words. They had to construct a complete plot, make strong word choices and use a variety of sentence structures to tell a creative and interesting story.
Seventh graders Chloe Boone ’30, Kathy Landa ’30, Samantha Oldenburg ’30 and Natasha Saini ’30 were also published by Young Writers USA in the contest “Scary Tales – Echoes of Silence.” Congratulations to these talented writers! #BulldogProud
