Bolles middle school students left audiences howling with laughter in their production of “How to Eat Like a Child (And Other Lessons in Not Being a Grown Up),” based on the best-selling book of the same name by Delia Ephron.
The book was adapted for television in 1981, starring Dick Van Dyke and then-child actors Corey Feldman, Billy Jacoby and Georg Olden. The musical comedy follows a “guest adult” who goes on an adventure to the secret world of children and convinces a group of them to guide him through the joys and sorrows of being a child.
Directed by Bolles middle school drama teacher Michael Fritton, the Bulldogs took the Parker Auditorium stage for performances February 23-24 at the Betsy Lovett Arts Center on the Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus.
