Middle School Robotics Teams Recognized at Qualifier Tournaments

All three Bolles Middle School Bartram Campus robotics teams – the Musical Mercuries, Magicianeers and Magnum Opus – won awards at their FIRST LEGO League Qualifier tournaments this season.

The Musical Mercuries, a team using artificial intelligence to design album art, won the Innovative Project Award for their communication of a unique solution to this year's problem.

The Magicianeers, who have worked diligently in designing a mixed reality application to bring the world of magic to others, earned the Motivate Award for their strong team spirit and core values.

Magnum Opus, applauded for creating a website to help novice robotics teams be more successful, won the Robot Design Award for their solid programming principles and engineering practices.

Bolles middle school teachers and robotics coaches Gabrielle Fudge and Mark Meyers said they eagerly anticipate the teams’ performances at the Regional Championship on February 17 in Alachua, Florida.

Congratulations to the teams on their continued excellence and making All Things Possible at Bolles! #BollesInnovates
