Lower School Students Honor MLK Day at Flag Convocation
Students on both the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach and Whitehurst Campuses took a moment to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. January 14 during their morning flag convocations. After listening to a broadcast of King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech, selected students presented poems about the fallen civil rights leader, whose memory is celebrated on the national and school Martin Luther King Day holiday, which falls this year on Monday, January 17.
